TV stars talks about World Cup 2015

"Balla Utha, Chhakka Laga, Josh Badhaa De, Honsh Udaa De….India Ko Tu Jeet Dilade…"

With the Indian squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 being announced, cricket fever in the country has hit new levels. It’s time for our players to gear up and hit the pitch because World Cup 2015 is just round the corner!

Cricket fever seems to have gripped our television stars as well as, what with them playing for Sony TV’s reality show Box Cricket League.

In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, TV celebs share their views on the selection of the team...read on:

Vishal Singh

It is very sad that Yuvraj Singh is not playing in the team. This is unfair as you can’t just throw out such a brilliant player because he didn't play well in one of the matches. He is a fighter; he fought against such a serious disease so I think the team should have given Yuvi a second chance to prove himself.

Dimple Jhangiani

After BCL, I have a lot of interest in cricket so I am excited to watch World Cup 2015, but at the same time I feel sad that such a supreme and outstanding player like Yuvraj Singh is not part of the team. I am a huge Virat Kohli fan so I wish he brings the trophy home!

Suyyash Rai

I am not at all happy with the selection as Yuvraj Singh deserves to be a part of World Cup 2015. If he wasn't a fine player, we would have not have won the 2011 World Cup. I have played with Yuvraj as we had the same coach. He is an outstanding player. I should not say this but the team will regret this decision.

Shaleen Malhotra

I am happy, except for the fact that Yuvraj Singh is not part of the team. Yuvi and Virender Sehwag have given their best for the team.

Abhishek Malik

I am happy with the selection as we have some really strong players in the team. But Yuvraj Singh is not part of the team, so we will definitely miss his fours and sixes.

Ajay Chaudhary

I am happy with the selection because I am not an emotional person. I think cricket is a practical game and not an emotional one so we should accept the team and let the young players get a chance to prove themselves. The combination of young brigade and experienced players will definitely help us win the world cup.

Karan Mehra

I am not happy with the selection because one of my favourite players, Yuvraj Singh, is not part of the team. I think they should have at least included him in the squad. There is a lot of change in the team so I don’t think this year the trophy will be coming to us.
