TV stars wish #HappyFriendshipDay

It is time to celebrate friendship and the bond of love.

Yes folks, its friendship day today!!!

Tellychakkar.com got into a fun conversation with popular TV actors and this is what they have to say about the celebration.

Vishal Vashishtha
I have friends who have been with me since the past 15-16 years and back in school we used to celebrate friendships day in a big way. We all used to assemble in one friend’s house like a ritual, one by one tie friendship band; it used to be really funny. Family is always there but friends are those who really stand by you and my friends are like my family. They have always supported me till date and never fail to understand me and I believe they are the best gift one can get. I don’t have one best friend in the industry but Aneri Vajani, Hiba Nawab are my good friends with whom I did my first show on TV. Because I am shooting continuously, over time, Aditi Sharma from my show Gangaa has also become a good friend.

Sarrtaj Gill:
Best friends are the ones who are together everywhere, be it in good times or bad. One such best friend of mine is Kawalpreet. We have been ‘Chaddi buddies’, grown up and studied together.  Both of us tried our hand at engineering together, but neither could complete it. Kawalpreet is in army as of now, I haven’t met him in the last 3 years but I miss my best friend.

Asmita Sood:
Friendship means a lot to me. It makes the basis of my universe and my life. I always make a point to invest some time everyday to keep in touch with the people who are instrumental to my life. One important thing I learnt from a close friend is being grounded and keeping my head on my shoulders at all times.

Saumya Tandon:

I made my best friend my life partner and I hope this friendship of ours will survive all ups and downs in our relationship. I value friendship a lot. In any relationship if you are friends, the relation lasts longer, is happier and healthier be it with your partner, mother, father or sister.

Amruta Khanvilkar:
Friendship is very important as it not only helps to connect with souls who are not your blood but also help you grow in life. Friends are family we choose and they influence most of our lives and vice versa. Friendship for me is forever. I don't let anyone come close to me but once the doors are open then for that person I can do anything and everything.  One thing I have learnt from one of my close friend is that people are going to come in your life and hurt you but you have to choose the ones who are worth it.

Ravi Dubey:
For me, every day is Friendship Day. My wife, Sargun, is my best friend and we share everything with each other. She has been with me all through and I am very lucky to have her. Life is beautiful with her. Besides Sargun, I have my own group of childhood friends. In school, we used to go to camps and enjoy games and adventures. I miss my friends and those days in school.

Akshay Dogra:

A day for friendship?? That's it? Being in Mumbai, away from family, your friends become your family. I've been lucky to have so many people in my life whom I can call 'my best friends'. Although, Barun Sobti is on the top of my list, but Sanaya Irani, Mohit Sehgal, Daljiet Kaur, Abhaas Mehta (honestly, it goes on) are definitely in there as well. Personally I wouldn't want to choose between them. I'm greedy like that. Interestingly, my character Jagan is seen fighting with Aarti Singh in my show whereas in real we get along very well and are good friends.

Siddharth Arora:
My closest friends are my school friends from Varanasi. We were five of us and popularly known as ‘the Pandavas’. Now, two of them have moved to Mumbai while two of them still reside in Varanasi. We have a get together every year where we all meet together. We have poker nights and cricket matches as well. This friendship day I am shooting but ideally I would like to take the day off, play cricket with my buddies and then go for dinner. Life is incomplete without close friends.

Happy Friendship Day readers!!!
