It was during Bigg Boss 1 that Amit Sadh openly declared his love for girlfriend Neeru Bajwa. The entire nation saw him crying on the show whilst he missed his girl on the show. Once the show ended, Amit made an appearance in Sony Entertainment Kulvaddhu replacing the male lead of the show.
