So how is it going with Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev? I am at a loss of words to express my satisfaction on playing Mahadev in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev. Mahadev has been on air from the year 2011! Are you bored essaying this character? Currently, this show is everything to me…and I find it very interesting to play Mahadev as we work on different tracks every time and this is definitely not boring. In fact, right now too, there is a different line-up we are planning as I think we are at that point where we have crossed the mark which makes a show boring. There is too much of clutter of mythological shows on air…do you think all are potential comeback shows? The thing is that every era has its new charm. People always like to hear and know more about epic tales. Shows are making a comeback with better advanced technology, music costumes and VFX. I would like to state here that the script is the USP of mythological shows. What do you do when you are not working? (Laughs)When I am not working, I am resting and apart from that, I like watching movies. Do you think Mahadev has helped you shape your career? Yes, it definitely helped to shape mine. Whatever you dream of achieving after becoming an actor, Mahadev has given it to me. People have started looking and talking to me differently, unlike before. This show has given me stardom which has helped me shape my career personally. Do you think you have to be more cautious about the way you behave publicly as people have been seeing your Godliness on screen?
