Angad Hasija who is currently playing Shankar in Phulwa on Colors celebrates his birthday today. On his special day he is more that happy to have his family besides him. In an exclusive to Tellychakkar the actor talks about celebration plans for his birthday. Angad, happy birthday! Thank you so much. What are your birthday plans? My mother and brother have come from Chandigarh so I plan to spend the entire day with them. It’s only in the evening that we will all go out for dinner. What about cake cutting then? That happened last night. We had a little party where all my close friends had come. We were celebrating through the night and it was great fun. Did you receive any special gifts? Yes, my mother took me shopping yesterday and she bought me new cell phones as she knows that I am fond of phones. Since I usually carry two cell phones she bought me two phones. I think it’s the best gift I received. What did your wife gift you? Well she gifted me this huge bouquet of flowers at midnight. I had no idea were had she kept the bouquet but at 12 it just came out (laughs). Which of your birthdays has been the best one till date? It was last year on the sets of Zara Nachke Dikha. The judges had a plan to surprise me. All of a sudden they called me on the stage and asked me to perform. I was really nervous because I had no idea what would I do but when I started dancing they played the birthday song. I thing that was the scariest and the happiest birthday I ever had. What is the one thing you religiously do on your birthday? I do not forget to pray. On person you wish would have been there on your birthday? Usually my mother and brother are missing on my birthday but since they are here this time I do not need to wish for anyone else. What are the three wishes that you would like granted on your birthday? I would want everybody to appreciate me for my work just the way they have been doing all this while. Secondly, I would want my next project to be challenging too just like this one. Thirdly, I would wish to work in a good movie. Any message for your fans?
