How important is money to you?

Money is very important for survival as it fulfills our basic needs of food, clothing and shelter.

Are you an impulsive buyer?

I am impulsive when it comes to decisions concerning me going for shopping but when it comes to purchasing something I am a very practical buyer.

What are the investments that you have made?

What has been your most expensive purchase?

I have a fetish for bags and tend to splurge a lot on them. I think all my bags cost around a lakh each.

Do you feel financially secure?

Yes, I do.

Who handles your expenses?

I handle my own expenses but my entire bank formalities are taken care of by my mother. Though a working woman, my mother single handedly manages work and bank work together. She is my wonder woman! (smiles).

What was your first salary?

During my college days, I had done a promotional activity for Nokia for which I was paid Rs. 2000 a day. Then, I was very excited and used whatever I got as my pocket money.

How much money do you carry every day?

I carry Rs. 500 liquid cash along with my debit and credit cards. As of today, ATMs and swipe machines are available everywhere so I do not feel the need to withdraw cash which I may misplace somewhere.

Your advice to new investors?

Invest your money in the right place where it will not depreciate.
