How important is money to you? It is important to keep a check on the way money is used. For me, I can survive on Rs. 100 a day. Are you an impulsive buyer? Yes, you can call me an impulsive buyer. What are the investments that you have made? I have invested in gold and have also bought a car for myself with my own hard-earned money. What has been your most expensive purchase? I spend a lot of money buying clothes specially branded lingerie besides bags and shoes. Do you feel financially secured? Yes. I am financially secured as I give almost 75 per cent of my monthly salary to my parents. So even if I fall short of money, I can always request them to help me. Who handles your expenses? I handle my own expenses. What was your first salary? When I was just 14 years old I earned Rs. 3000 for an event out of which I gave Rs. 2000 to my mother to save on my behalf. How much money do you carry every day? I carry a minimum amount of Rs. 1000 in my wallet as whenever I see a lot of money in it I get tempted to go out shopping. Your advice to new investors? It is important to save something for ourselves. I would like to advise people to invest more on gold and real estate.
