In a brief chat with Tellychakkar.com, Aashka bares her fashion fundas: Fashion is: Fashion for me is when you look at the mirror, it should be pleasing and appealing. Who chooses your clothes? Myself and my best friend, Pompy. Do you wear accessories? I like to wear accessories but very minimal. I don’t like to overdo things. Do you follow any brands? I prefer brands only when it comes to my make-up. Otherwise, I am not that brand conscious. Favourite shopping destination: Shopping bores me big time. I know I am the only girl who will say such a thing but it’s actually true. I can’t waste time unnecessarily. Most expensive buy: Well, my grandma has gifted me an Omega wrist watch and two ruby rings which are 110 years old. It is very precious to me and don’t allow anyone to even touch them. Clothes you are comfortable in: It’s all upon you how you carry your clothes. Fashion lies in attitude and class. If you are confident then you can look better wearing anything when compared to someone who might be wearing a Versace or any other branded attire, Must-have in your wallet: Credit cards and I have my entire family’s passport size photos in my wallet. Favourite perfume: I only like wearing men’s perfume. I simply hate wearing those flowery perfumes as it smells like some talcum powder. Colour that fills your wardrobe: All earthy colours like black, white and grey. Describe Sale in one word: We sale to fool you. Currently your wardrobe is overflowing with: With lots of clothes. You have hardest time getting dressed for: I never take much time to dress up. Any fashion disaster you have come across recently: I make many fashion blunders. There’s nobody who has not done one. If you had to choose a fashion era, which period will it be? The fashion of the 70s as it was very rich and classy.
