Giaa Maanek, who is currently seen taking viewers on a romantic and fantasy adventure as the bubbly Jeannie in Jeannie Aur Juju (SAB TV) loves eating non-vegetarian and spicy food. However, being an actress, she can’t indulge in the gluttonous affair way too often. She gives more insight on her fitness regime in an exclusive tete-a-tete with Tellychakkar.com. Personal fitness mantra: I eat small portions of meal every two to three hours and 10 minutes of skipping daily keeps me fit. Personal diet mantra: I do not diet at all, but avoid eating rice and roti post 8 pm. Are you a foodie? Yes, I am a big time foodie. Are you a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian? A complete non-vegetarian person. Favourite cuisine: Authentic Indian spicy non-vegetarian food. Favourite dish: Chicken tandoori and any vegetarian food cooked by my mother. A must on my breakfast table: Milk and Muesli. Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee: With sugar. Lunch generally consists of: Two rotis, dal, any vegetable, curd and a sweet dish, if there is any (smiles). Dinner generally consists of: Boiled chicken, grilled fish or for that matter any boiled food with a plate of salad. Dessert delights: I love eating Kaju Katli and Gulab Jamun. One thing I can't resist: Eating chicken My favourite drink (non-alcoholic): Water. My favourite drink (alcoholic): I am a non-alcoholic person. At parties I have: Cold drinks, mostly Pepsi. Most unusual dish I've tasted: I once had a chicken burger at MC’Donalds in Bangkok and somehow it did not taste like chicken. Experiment with food: Sometimes, but as I don’t get enough time, but love trying spicy food. On the streets, I love to have: Grilled sandwiches and pani puri. Fitness tip: Do not do things which you cannot follow for life. One cannot diet all life, so no use trying it.
