Celebs galore at Weschool
As a tribute to the resilient spirit of Mumbai in the fifth year of the ghastly 26/11 terror attacks, Weschool (Welingkar Institute of Management) has organized an initiative titled ‘WE WISH YOU PEACE ’ which will be held today (22 November 2013) on the grounds of the school. Present on the occasion would be one of the survivors of the terror attack, Kia Scherr, Founder- One life Alliance and Prof Dr Uday Salunkhe, Group Director-WeSchool who will address the event on the occasion and will approach people to take an ‘Oath of Peace’. In the spirit of spreading the message of peace, celebrities from various walks of life will walk the ramp, showcasing the creations specially put together by a team of young designers, Nishka Lulla and Rajat Tangri- Riyaz Gangji. The fashion show will be anchored by model and anchor, Rochelle Maria Rao and a much sought after emcee and TV/Radio host, Siddharth Kannan. Celebs walking the ramp include interesting names like, Sunil Gavaskar, Aftab Shivdasani, Mohit Chauhan, Rajneesh Duggal, Kunal Ganjawala, Karan Kundra, Rohit Roy, Gautam Rode, Rithvik Dhanjani, Saheer Sheikh, Hiten Tejwani, Siddharth Shukla, Salman Yusuf Khan, Nagesh Kukunoor, Ashmit Patel, Muzamil Ibrahim, Anu Malik with Sarah Jane Dias, Vidya Malvade, Maryam Zakaria, Gurleen Grewal, Kritika Kamra, Rupal Tyagi, Mansi Moghe, Srishti Rana, Nia Sharma, Rashmi Desai, Smita Bansal and Aishwarya Sakhuja amongst a host of other celebrities. As a part of the show, India’s Got Talent Winner Prince Dance group will perform a scintillating Ganesh Vandana. Later people present will be entertained by a soulful Sufi Performance by Sonu and Neha Kakkar. Also present on the occasion would be Bollywood singer, Mohit Chauhan who will enthral the audience, accompanied by a dance act by Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa fame choreographer Shampa. The event will culminate with a thrilling act on National integration by the Prince Dance group who will depict the colors of our national flag. Additionally, the show includes NGO participation as children from St Mary Shelter Home will join the celebs on the ramp. Diplomatic community based in Mumbai, corporate leaders, eminent citizens, will be present to express their solidarity with the peace initiative.
