Following the grand success of the 5^th season of its prestigious singing reality show for kids, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, Zee TV announces its 6^th edition. The auditions for the new season kick started with a phenomenal response in Bhubaneshwar on 2nd December, witnessing outstanding participation from kids! The 16 -city auditions have been held in Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Patna, Indore, Gwalior, Jaipur, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Lucknow and aims to cover the remaining cities including Nagpur, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai. The latest buzz on the show is that for the very first time, India’s biggest singing sensation and playback singer Neha Kakkar who shot to fame with her popular hit numbers ‘Ladki Kar Gai Chull’, ‘Kaala Chashma’, ‘London Thumakta’ and ‘Aao Raja’ amongst many more, has been roped in to judge the forthcoming season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs. Joining Neha Kakkar on the judges’ panel is none other than music composer-turned-actor Himesh Reshammiya, who has been an integral part of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa journey, having judged previous seasons.

Speaking on his association with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs’, Himesh Reshammiya Said, “I am thrilled to be part of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs. Zee group, Subhashji and Punit Ji are my family. I have started my career as a serial producer with them at the age of 16 with serial Andaz, when I was a kid myself. Later I produced 7 other shows with the group. I’ve had a long association with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and for me it's like coming back to my home ground, my family. The kind of talent that we get on this show is extraordinary, as the creative team ensures that they get only the best from the country. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has given the music industry some of its finest talents and I believe there is no better platform for aspiring singers. This show is a learning ground for all. I was a part of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs earlier as a guest judge and I felt privileged to be surrounded by such phenomenal talent. The teams at Zee are visionaries in finding true talent. I’m really looking forward to judging the show again”.
