Summer vacations are undoubtedly the most exciting time of the year for kids. The much awaited break brings along time to indulge in their favourite activities and catch up on their much loved TV shows. To make summers a lot more engaging and entertaining, Cartoon Network is excited to introduce their special summer programming for the month of May for its young audience. The channel has lined up three exclusive movie premieres –‘Billu Gamer,’ ‘Pette The Prince’ and ‘Mighty Raju: Rio to Goa’ to ensure that the kids have an exciting vacation. Along with these premieres, the channel will also showcase fresh episodes of The Powerpuff Girls, Lai Bhaari Oggyand Sir Haddi Sir.

First up, the channel will premiere Billu Gamer on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. The movie is about a young boy christened Patty who lives with his parents and teenage sister. Patty is very fond of playing video games and Billu happens to be his all-time favourite gaming character. To Patty’s surprise, Billu comes to life and becomes buddies with him and takes Lolly and Ruby with him to the gaming circus. At the circus, unfortunately Lolly makes a mistake which results in a massive havoc. The movie takes an interesting turn as all four of them solve this fiasco.

Another movie which is a must watch is Pette The Prince. The movie is around a pampered young brat, born in a royal family and is the sole heir to his father's throne. The spoilt prince often finds himself in the threshold of danger, thanks to Keji (Head of ministers), who has his eyes set on the throne. Will he succeed or not? The movie will be aired on May 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Third in the line and an absolute delight to watch is the new movie of Mighty Raju, who comes back with a new adventure that lands him up in Goa.  Mighty Raju who had a splendid adventure in Rio gets an invitation from Gopi to attend a Carnival in Goa. But right from the moment he lands at the airport, Raju springs into action and saving his friends and himself. Mighty Raju: Rio To Goa will be aired on May 28, 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. only on Cartoon Network.

But wait, the fun isn’t over yet as Cartoon Network will introduce a special summer segment called The Big Summer Ride which will have Kris and Oggy will come together to enthral the kids every morning, Mon-Fri from 10 a.m. to  12 p.m.       

To top it all Cartoon Network also brings back their all-time favourite shows Sir Haddi Sir and Lai Bhaari Oggyevery evening from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday-Friday along with the new series of The Powerpuff Girls which made a comeback after a span of 11 long years, every weekend at 9 a.m.
