Actress Mansi Srivastava, who was last seen in Zee TV’s Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, is very thrilled about her new show Peterson Hill (Garima Productions) on SAB TV, where she will essay the role of Shatabdi, Rohit Roy’s sister-in-law.

Speaking about her character, the cheerful lady said, “I found the name Shatabdi very interesting. As we know it’s the name of a train and I have travelled in it many times and since the show also revolves round a station master, I found it even more interesting.”

“My character will of a bubbly, cheerful girl, who tries to keep everyone around her happy. There will be three local guys after me, but I have friend-zoned them,” added Mansi.

The actress, who has already done entertainment drama, also mentioned that she is interested to do a crime thriller now. “I am very much fond of thriller stories by Agatha Christie. Now, I want to do some crime based shows, where I will be able to essay the role of a cop or forensic expert.”

Mansi also spoke to us about her experience of doing outdoor shoots for the show and mentioned, “While shooting in Shimla, we received good response. The people out there were giving us instant reactions, which boosted our confidence and gave us the feel of a live performance.”
