Actress Seema Pandey is ‘glad’ and ‘happy’ to have bagged her first award after being part of the industry for 16 long years. The lady, who is presently seen essaying mother to the male protagonist (Navi Bhangu) in Sony PAL’s Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai, was recently felicitated for her contribution as an actor. In the 7th National Women Excellence Award organized by Shri News at the FICCI Auditorium in New Delhi on 25 November, women from various walks of life were felicitated. And Seema happened to bag an award for her contribution. Talking about it, Seema tells Tellychakkar.com, “Aah, it was a great feeling to bag my first award. I have been acting for nearly 16 years now, and to get this award for my contribution to acting was something great.” Seema, who was part of Balaji Telefilms’ Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii in the year 2000, is happy working with the Czarina again in Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai. “I am now working with Balaji after 14 years. And it feels good.” She has recently been part of Life OK’s Baawre, Sony TV’s Yudh and Big Magic’s Love Dosti Dua. Seema, hearty congratulations!!
