Alan Kapoor, who was last seen as Ambar in Sahara One’s Niyati, is enjoying himself these days. After he quit this show, he has been relaxing, something he could not do when he was part of this daily. “When you are part of a daily soap, you are left with very little time on hand, so now that I am on a break I am doing things that I love to like travelling,” reveals Alan. In fact, he tells us that he hasn’t been in town for more than 10 days since the time he stopped shooting for Niyati. If you are wondering when this actor will be back on screen, Alan has something to say: “I am going through scripts but there’s nothing that I can talk about right now.” So what kind of roles can we see him doing in the future? “I would love to do something that excites me as an actor. I don’t want to be part of saas-bahu sagas.” Incidentally, this handsome actor celebrates his birthday today. And he has a very unique way of celebrating the occasion: “I just like to laze around on my birthday. So when I am working, I take an off on the day.” He has already cut a cake at midnight which was followed by a long drive with friends. As for the rest of the day, he isn’t sure what is in store for him. Is a special romantic dinner on the cards? “No, I do not have any one in my life,” ends Alan.
