All the glitz and glam that unfolded at Tellychakkar.com’s 9th anniversary bash

All the glitz and glam that unfolded at Tellychakkar.com
The tantalizing red carpet, rolled out at the entrance of the swish Firangi Paani, glowed richly. “Trample me with your heels and shoes,’ it seemed to scream as soon as the bright tungsten lights came on. And that is what exactly happened as soon as the clock struck eight, yesterday night. A party like never before was staged; where celebs both from television and Bollywood mingled, laughed and danced the night away like there is no tomorrow. Among the first ones to arrive was actor Gulshan Devaiah, now basking in the glory of his excellent negative act in Ram-Leela. It was celebration time for the actor himself as 12 February also marked his 2nd wedding anniversary with his beautiful foreigner wife. Gulshan was soon joined inside by master choreographer Terence Lewis, who as always, looked fit as a fiddle. As the clock ticked, the atmosphere inside started heating up, courtesy a bevy of beauties from the television world who made their presence felt which included the super popular Ragini Khanna, the fiery Dolly Bindra, the subtle Munisha Khatwani and the lovely Anita Hassanandani. The oomph factor was provided by Prerna Wanvari, Saumya Tandon, Sana Khan, Sana Sheikh and Vrinda Dawda, all of whose sartorial sense made us scream in unison – You are dressed to kill. It was time to crank up the ac when the diva of dare bare and ample bosom, Poonam Pandey arrived. Dressed in a blood red one –piece, Poonam did what she does best – show off her blessed twins much to the delight of the assembled media. Inside the venue, as sumptuous food and fine liquor freely flowed in, celebrities had a whale of time, some catching up with old friends while others trying out some pirate merchandise on the red carpet. Popular reel life villain Shakti Kapoor walked in to chants of Aaauu and was seen checking out a pirate knife at the red carpet. The razzmatazz reached a crescendo when Tellychakkar’s founder and Chairman Anil Wanvari arrived with wife Larysa Wanvari and immediately found a friend in India’s favourite quiz master and now actor Siddhartha Basu. Both were seen catching up on old times. They were soon joined by one of Bollywood’s finest actors Nawazuddin Siddiqu and television’s most respected and popular figure Anang Desai. Anang and Nawaz were seen warmly chit chatting over a glass of red wine. Representing the music industry was legendary Anu Malik who made it a point to make it to our party in spite of having just landed from Delhi. That’s a sweet gesture Anuji. Also spotted were singer Shibani Kashyap, popular radio jockey Mantra, and Meiyang Chang. Also spotted having a good time were Rajev Paul, Neelu and Arvind Vaghela, Sana Khan, Ajaz Khan, Karan Tacker, Angad Hasija, Gaurav Chopraa, Nia Sharma, Rubina Dilaik, Rucha Gujrathi, Delnaz Irani, Rohit Khurana, Eijaz Khan, Karan Kundra, Gaurav Khanna, Arjun Bijlani, Karan Tacker, Mahesh Thakur, Bobby Darling, Gaurav Gera, hockey legend Mir Ranjan Negi and Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera who made a late appearance after discharging his duties with Salman Khan As the guests mingled inside, a delicious 15 kg cake was wheeled in and all eyes were then trained on our Chairman Anil Wanvari to do the honours. In a stirring speech, Mr. Wanvari recalled Tellychakkar’s early days and its nine-year long journey where it has grown from strength to strength to reach the top most echelons of the entertainment industry in terms of breaking fine quality exclusive news, reports and interviews. He also made a special mention of Tellychakkar’s editor Siddhartha Laik and thanked the humungous efforts put in by him and his team in contributing to the overall growth. It was finally time to cut the cake and pop the bubbly. Joining the Chairman was Nawaz, Anang Desai, RJ Mantra and the entire team of Tellychakkar. With one quick cut, Tellychakkar rang in its birthday celebrations with great pomp and vigour. The party however, was not yet over as the dance floor was then taken charge of by celebrities who swayed to the tunes of popular Hindi numbers dished out by the DJ. Among the many celebs who shook their leg, the best one we thought was Jasveer Kaur who showed off her near perfect dance moves that would have most certainly put her Bollywood counterparts to shame. The party continued till the wee legitimate hours and fortunately there was no irksome aunty who played spoilsport by calling in the police. It was one party which will be remembered for a long long time. Stay logged on for all the pictures and articles from the party.
