The vivacious Ami Trivedi who is seen in Zaara has bagged a cameo on Zee’s Rakhi Lavanya and will be taking revenge on Nandini (Nupur Joshi) and her family. “For the first time I’ll be essaying a negative role on screen. This will be a cameo for just a few months,” confirms Ami. Elaborating on her character she explains, “I met Nandini in the temple. She looks at me and asks me why I’m crying. She takes me along to her place but is unaware of my mission. I can’t reveal anything further as my character is still in the developing stage.” Beside NDTV Imagine’s Indiadhanush and Rakhi what else is there in the pipeline? “Well I have bagged another show on Colors where I’ll be again playing a vamp. The channel and production house has told me to be tight lipped about this new project so I would like to speak once the shoot starts,” says the actress. Why is Ami accepting a negative role? “I think now the producers are giving me a chance to take badla and show my meanness. Well I’m excited but am also looking forward to some positive roles,” she laughs. When a sweet girl turns evil audiences take time to get convinced. Lets hope Ami succeeds in winning over fans.
