Actress Amrita Rao (Last seen in Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai) loves Diwali. The festival of lights is celebrated with zest and zeal at her place too. This being her first Diwali after her marriage, she has planned something special for the day.

Talking about her Diwali plans, she shared, “Diwali is my most favourite festival of the year. I love the lights, colours and of course the family reunions and bonding over food and mithai. This year too, mom and I will carefully choose the right gifts for friends, then assort them and deliver to their homes.”

When asked Amrita about the decoration and food at her place, she said, “Decorations are mostly lighting. The traditional oil lanterns are all around the house. We have Laxmi pooja at home. We make a lot of traditional Mangalorian dishes like Moong Gashi, Batata Song and five types of bhajiyas.”

Well, Amrita looks dazzling in each and every outfit and she carries them off like a boss. Talking about her outfit for the big day, Amrita quipped, “My Diwali dress would be an anarkali in the morning and a saree in the evening. I like wearing Indian, paired with gold jewellery.”
