Handsome Ankit Bathla and the tall and lanky Jia Mustafa will be seen spearheading the upcoming episode of Life OK’s Savdhan India (Saregama Productions) as central characters. This story will be unusual as it will see the husband fighting back against his wife who would have been cheated him in a big way, by charging him with a crime that he would not have done. Ankit will essay the role of a middle-class boy who will come across a rich girl (essayed by Jia). The girl will fall for the man and in spite of the man refusing the proposal, she will go on to convince him for marriage. Soon after marriage, the girl will get pregnant and their life will seem to be a bed of roses. But she will decide to go to her maayka and will stop responding to her husband’s calls and messages. The husband will eventually be shocked when he will get to know of the girl having aborted their child. To top it, the girl will go and register a complaint against her husband for seeking a huge dowry from her parents. With everyone against him including the cops, the guy will fight back to prove his innocence. When contacted, Ankit Bathla told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I am presently shooting for Savdhan India. This particular story should be an eye opener for all the males who get harassed by women. Unfortunately, situations will turn demanding for such a person as the society always supports the woman. I personally know of few men who are troubled by such women. Guess it is wake-up time for men to fight against such ladies.” We tried calling Jia, but could not get through to her. Jia has been recently seen in episodics of Bhoot Aaya, Crime Patrol. Ankit was last seen in Star Plus’ Ek Veer Ki Ardaas – Veera. This particular episodic story will be aired soon.
