Ankita Lokhande will miss Sushant Singh Rajput a lot

Sushant Singh Rajput, Ankita Lokhande and Hiten Tejwani
A lot has been written about Hiten Tejwani replacing Sushant Singh Rajput in Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta. The development has certainly created ripples in the Indian TV industry. But one must not forget that Pavitra Rishta is not only about handsome and suave Manav. It is also about the beautiful and gracious Archana. The show is popular because of the warm and electrifying chemistry between Manav and Archana. Archana’s character has been aptly played by Ankita Lokhande over a period of two years now. So, we decided to talk to Ankita and and ask her how she felt about Sushant's replacement. “It is Ekta Kapoor’s decision to bring in Hiten. She is the best judge and I believe that her move will prove to be a good one,” says the actress. Now, it is a known fact that Sushant and Ankita are dating each other in real life. Ankita believes that it is easy for real life love to get portrayed beautifully on screen. “Sushant and I bonded well on the sets as we are a couple in real lives as well. Emotions got out pretty naturally. He could come and hug me at will. Woh mujhe kabhi bhi godh mein utha sakta tha for any scene without taking any permission. But things will be different with Hiten,” informs Ankita. Things will be different in the sense? “See, now Hiten has to rehearse with me. He has to ask me before hugging or doing anything before enacting a scene. It’s quite natural,” clarifies Ankita. Point taken. But as mentioned, the show is all about the rapport and chemistry between Manav and Archana. Now with Hiten’s entry, can the same magic be re-created on the screen? “Chemistry ek din mein to nahin develop hota hain. Of course, it will take time. I don’t know if the same kind of magic will get re-created or not but I am hopeful that the audience will like me and Hiten together. After all, we are professionals and we both will give our best shots.” But the actress sounded upset when asked if she will miss Sushant. “I will definitely miss him a lot. He keeps guiding me throughout and he is my greatest support in life,” says Ankita. However, before signing off she cleared the air that she never intended to quit the show, cocking a snook at all those who predicted that she would depart.
