Tellychakkar.com today reported about Zee TV coming up with a mini-series titled Mela (Fair).

The series will have 10 episodes featuring famous Zee TV stars namely Sargun Mehta, Karanvir Bohra, Sayantani Ghosh, Karan Mehra, Ratan Rajput, Usha Nadkarni and Eijaz Khan.

Now we have heard that  veteran actor Anupam Shyam (Doli Armaanon Ki) has also joined the project.

According to our sources, Anupam will play Usha Nadkarni’s brother who would plan to open a five star hotel.

We called Anupam who shared, “Yes, I have been approached but nothing is finalized yet.”

We have also learnt that makers are in talks with Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli star Karan Grover to be a part of the show, but he is yet to sign the dotted line.  

The shooting has started from today and Mela is slated to air from 27 April.
