The good looking and charming Arav Chowdharry mesmerized one and all with his powerful performance as Bhism Pitamah in Mahabharat (Swastik Productions). Now the actor is performing excellently the suave character of Indrajeet in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon…Ek Baar Phir (Sphereorigins). Talking about his new show, Arav shared, “Of course it is a welcome change to play this modern and contemporary character. Also since Indrajeet’s character suits my personality, I feel it is going really good. I have been receiving positive feedback for the same. Every character has its fate, its journey. All we can do is continue doing hard work and the rest automatically follows.” The actor who has in a short span of time dabbled between two characters, we asked which did he find more interesting to play? “To be honest each has its own flavour so there is no comparison. Bhism in Mahabharat was a once in a lifetime experience though I really hope that I get an opportunity to do something like that again. As for Iss Pyaar Ko… it is so real life that it’s easier for me to perform.” When we asked Arav what according to him are the three things that are needed by an actor to be successful, he laughed and said, “I really wish I knew! I think nobody knows that and neither can they know it ever. But personally I feel perseverance, the never give up attitude and hard work are the three major qualities to be successful in whatever you do. And when it comes to an actor, I think the first quality is that they should know how to act.” And finally even though this talented actor has been part of successful films like Dhoom, Lakshya and Laado, we wondered why he couldn’t climb greater heights in the big screen? “Well that I think the industry should wake up to realise how they are losing on to a great potential. I am still the same, have the same talent and am pretty approachable too; I don’t know why I am not offered good movies.” Well, as you said ‘perseverance’ is the key Arav!
