Rajshri Productions has churned out some amazing family dramas on Indian television, namely Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki (Sahara One) and Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli (still on air on Zee TV). Now the production house, which is known for its emotion draped content, is all set to make a new show on Star Plus. And the latest dope we have gathered is that the makers have decided to sign Ashlesha Sawant, who was last seen in Zee TV’s Dil Se Diya Vachan, to play a pivotal role in it. Ashlesha will play the male lead’s maasi (aunt). She will be seen as an unmarried woman working in her family business. Her character will not be entirely negative but will have a tinge of grey shade. She will be very close to her father and younger sister. Tellychakkar.com contacted Ashlesha and she confirmed the news and said, “I am very happy to be a part of the show. I have always heard good things about Rajshri Productions, especially the congenial and homely atmosphere that they have on the sets. I consider myself lucky to be working with them. We haven’t started shooting yet but I am really looking forward to it.” Keep logging on to Tellychakkar.com to get more updates on the latest happenings in the world of Indian television.
