MUMBAI: B-town has showered Saina Nehwal and her hubby Parupalli Kashyap with adorable wedding anniversary wishes.
The ace shuttler, whose biopic is in the making, is married to fellow badminton player, Parupalli Kashyap. The duo tied the knot in December 2018 and they celebrated their first wedding anniversary recently.
To mark the special day, Saina took to Instagram and shared an adorable picture of herself with her hubby. She adorably wrote beside the photo, “Happy first anniversary to us.”
Adding three love emojis, she further wrote, “#oneyearofmarriage.”
As soon as she shared the post, her well-wishers showered her with adorable wishes. Along with fans and fellow sports personalities, B-town celebs like Esha Gupta, Gauahar Khan, and Urvashi Rautela wished the couple.
Jannat 2 and Rustom fame actress Esha commented, “Happy anniversary.”
Gauahar, who acted in films like Begum Jaan and Ishaqzaade, wrote, “Happy happy anniversary ! Love , smiles , blessings !”
Sanam Re and Great Grand Masti actress Urvashi wrote “Congratulations” and added a love emoji.

Coming back to Saina Nehwal’s biopic, the film will see Hasee Toh Phasee actress Parineeti Chopra in the title role. Helmed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film will star Manav Kaul as Pullela Gopichand, Saina's coach, and Paresh Rawal as her father.
