After her very successful stint as Anandi’s mother in Balika Vadhu Bhairavi Raichura will now be seen as a doting bahu in Ravi Ojha’s ambitious project tentatively titled Sasural genda phool. As reported by TellyChakkar this is a remake of the successful show Ogo bondhu sundori.. The show has Ragini Khanna, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Thakur and Pooja Kawal in the star cast. Informs a source, “This is a very sweet and feel-good family drama. The show is about three generations and their emotional ties. The first generation will be played by veterans Anita Kanwal and Sudhir Pandey, the second generation will be played by Supriya Pilgaonkar, Sooraj Thapar and Shruti Ulfat and the third generation will have three bahus – Ragini Khanna, Bhairavi Raichura and Pooja Kanwal. Jay Soni will be seen opposite Khanna and a rookie actor Shyam has been cast opposite Pooja Kanwal. The show has a realistic approach to it and you won’t see the bahus wearing expensive saris and heavy jewellery. It’s a simple drama which looks real. The promo of the show has been shot and the show is expected to air sometime in the end of February.” We tried contacting Bhairavi Raichura but she refused to comment. We sent a text message to actor Sooraj Thapar who confirmed that he is a part of the show.
