Bharat Chawda starts his journey in Star Plus' Meri Bhabhi with "bruises"

Bharat Chawda
Actors…work day and night and give in their sweat and blood to churn out impressive realistic scenes. One such actor who has not shied away from enacting a power packed action scene in his recent show Ek Khushiyon Ki Chabi…Meri Bhabhi is Bharat Chawda. And in an attempt to perform one such sequence, the actor hurt himself. Avers Bharat, “While doing a scene on a high rise building a couple of nights back (7 July) that required me to hang on a harness, I got bruised all over. The pull of the harness was quite strong and it was hurting me. But I was only aware of the pain later when I saw red marks all over my body.” The handsome actor, who is seen as Shraddha’s (Kanchi Kaul) husband Bobby, is kicked about his role in the show. “When I read the script and gave the audition for the same, I was already in love with the character. And luckily for me, even though someone else (Prashant Chawla) was finalised for the role, it was me who got to do Bobby’s role finally,” he says. Bobby, a struggling singer was taken as a negative character when he abandoned his wife and son, has finally returned a changed man. The makers are yet to decide upon his “true colours” though. Having launched his career in a reality show India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj, the actor is keen on displaying his dancing skills. “I would love to do a dance reality show or even perform at an awards function. And both are eventually bound to happen as our show gets popular. I am hoping for the best,” Bharat hopes. Till then, he signs off saying that the viewers will be treated to great masala entertainment with Meri Bhabhi. Bharat entered the show in last night’s (8 July) episode.
