It’s the time of the day when we unwind after a hard day’s work!! But wait, before we packed our bags we got to know of a major development in the channel Big Magic. The news coming in is that Big Magic’s show Love Dosti Dua which had just begun its Season 3 will be coming to an end tomorrow (16 May). The reason being that the in-house production was running over-budget with its costs, and the channel decided to axe the show, at least for the time being. Says a source, “Owing to budget issues, Love Dosti Dua will see its end. But there is every possibility of the show coming up with a new season in the next few months. But all will depend upon how the budget issues get resolved internally.” And now to the next major development.. Tellychakkar.com had recently reported about Sandit Tiwari quitting the other Big Magic show, Mahi Sagar, produced by Hats Off Productions owing to creative issues. And now the news coming in is that the channel has got Anuj Thakur, who played the lead in Love Dosti Dua, on board Mahi Sagar to replace Sandit. Our reliable source confides, “With the channel taking a decision on ending Love Dosti Dua, Anuj Thakur who was the lead there has been shifted to Mahi Sagar. Anuj will be starting shoot for Mahi Sagar in couple of days time.” And for the ending of Love Dosti Dua, the show will end on a happy note with the wedding of Shiv and Gauri (Divya Mallik). We tried contacting Anuj, but could not get through to him. Our efforts to get a confirmation from the channel were in vain. We could not reach out to Producer of Mahi Sagar, J D Majethia too. For the uninitiated, Anuj had recently got on board Love Dosti Dua as replacement for Shashank Sethi. Watch this space for more updates.
