The I & B Ministry isn’t the only one to train guns on Bigg Boss. Many find the content to be obscene and then there are a few who aren’t quite opposed to the content but are unhappy with the time slot. Director, writer Mukul Abhyankar is one of them. Abhyankar is now all set to file a Public Interest Litigation against the time slot of the show.
“I’m in the process of filing a PIL against the Bigg Boss for its time slot. I’m not all opposed to the content. You can show pornography too but you can’t be airing shows like Bigg Boss at 9.00 pm. Such shows shouldn’t air before 11.00 pm. I’m not the only one who is filing a PIL against the show. There are about 1000 people who’ve threatened to take action against the show for different reasons,” said Abhyankar.
Few days ago, I & B Ministry had served a notice to Colors as it found the show to be vulgar. Their concern was raised when a promo showed Aditi Govitriker and Tanaaz Irani pulling down Raju Srivastav’s pants. This footage wasn’t aired in the actual episode. The language used by few of the inmates particularly by the likes of Kamal Khan and Vindu Dara Singh was found to be very vulgar.
In the advent of increasing opposition, we hope that inmates keep a check on their behaviour.
