The show that is starting with the kids’ competition will go on air from 7 December and take the weekend time slot of KBC. And hosting the show will be the pretty Sargun Mehta who recently replaced Sriti Jha in Balika Vadhu.
We spoke to Sargun who said, “Talks are on, but only the channel can give a confirmation.”
And a channel source confirmed saying, “Names like Mahii Vij, Shweta Pandit and Rakshit Wahi (Sunny of Parrvarish) were also probable names as the host, but Sargun will get to do the honours.”
We also spoke to the brainchild and producer of the show Naved Jaffrey who quipped, “We wanted to have a hostess so that she could act as a connectivity factor and also add glamour to the show. Also we will get to pull her leg all the time,” he laughs.
Talking about changes in the format, Naved says, “Not much of changes have been brought, but this time there will be loads of interesting rounds and I am sure people will have fun watching Boogie Woogie.”
And why start the show with kids, we asked Naved. “Well firstly, kids are super talented and the audience will be surprised with what these kids can do on stage. Our show has always believed in giving a platform to the young talent of India. Also with kids, the connection builds faster and mann bhi lag jaata hai.”
Naved who is all excited about the show added that he along with his brother Javed, and best friend Ravi Behl will once again be on the judges chair.
So get set for a dancing revolution from 7 December.
