But today, it has not only touched the hearts of many across the globe but also become a cult in the genre of comedy. And the laugh riot is all set to complete six successful years of airing on Monday (28 July 2014). Tellychakkar.com spoke to producer Asit Modi and few cast members who sounded emotional and nostalgic. Asit Modi averred, “I am ecstatic with the response the show has generated. People all across the globe love it and we all feel very proud. From six years, we have maintained our promise to deliver unique episodes and we will take the legacy ahead in the seventh year with added commitment in presenting more distinguished content which will make viewers roll off their seats.” As a part of flagging of the month of Shravan and celebrating six years of success, the show will feature a Shravan puja organized by the members of Gokuldham society followed by Asit Modi sharing the success with the viewers. Dilip Joshi expressed his happiness saying, “I feel blessed, elated and lucky to be a part of a show which is not only the most popular but also very loved. The reason why people love Taarak is that we always work as if we are preparing for the first episode of telecast, with the same zeal and dedication every day. I feel that is why the viewers are also not bored with the show.” Disha Vakani aka Dayaben added, “I am extremely proud and happy to be a part of the six year successful journey of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. One such actor who has showcased her skills and talent is the graceful Munmun Dutta.
