Casting Director Gaurav Kaushal’s ‘dream’ of working towards his passion, i.e. direction is finally about to see the dawn!!

Gaurav is presently busy working on his maiden short film project which has the working title of ‘Window Tears’.

The buzz is that Gaurav is in the process of roping in few known and eminent names from Bollywood for the short film. The film will go on floor in the second week of December, in Haridwar and Sawant Wadi.

The story chosen for the short film will certainly bring a tear down the eyes of the viewers…

As per sources, “The story of this 27 minutes short film, being made for screenings at film festivals will be about a girl who is a rape victim. The film will narrate the struggle of the girl post getting raped, and how she will find love in her life, and how she will end up providing food and shelter to many women who have been victims of rape, a social curse practiced by many evil-minded people living in the society.”

Also, today happens to be the birthday of Gaurav, and we buzzed him on this special day to get his view on his short film. “Yes, I am working on a short film presently. I started my career as an assistant director, and direction has always been my passion. I am glad to announce about this new venture of mine on my birthday.”

As for Gaurav, after starting his career as assistant director, he moved into casting and has been associated with Balaji Telefilms, Swastik Productions, Film Farm India, Trilogy Media so far.
