Sanjay Tyagi, the well-known Casting Director in town will be stepping into the shoes of an actor for Swastik Productions’ upcoming show, Bandhan for Zee TV that depicts the bonding between an elephant and a small girl. Tyagi will be seen playing the right hand to the main negative guy Anirudh Dave and his notorious elder brother Bhau, essayed by Sudesh Berry. His character, Satya would be similar to Circuit in Munna Bhai MBBS, and will possess an uncanny attitude and style. To add-on to the character’s attributes, Tyagi will be seen with nail polish on his fingers, and also sports a beard. Sanjay Tyagi an MBA in fine arts was also in Barry John’s group in Delhi. After being part of theatre in both Delhi and Mumbai, the guy moved into the casting line. Tyagi has to his credit more than 600 commercial ads as the casting director. His noted ads are the popular and award-winning Idea commercials and ICICI ads. In television, Sanjay Tyagi has casted for Laagi Tujhse Lagan. He was the one to bring in Shabbir Ahluwalia and Aadesh Chaudhary into the show. Also, the new Gopi bahu, Devoleena Chatterjee in Rashmi Sharma’s Saathiya was also cast by the man.
