The thrilling revenge drama Paanch- 5 Wrongs Make A Right on Channel V has been one of the most loved shows on the channel. But sadly for its loyal viewers, it will soon wave goodbye as the team wrapped up its shoot yesterday (16 June). The show being a finite series was to go off air last month, but the popularity gave it a push and Paanch got an extension till July. Having a bank of episodes in the kitty, the cast and crew shot the final episode last night. And from what we hear, it was quite a teary farewell. Firstly, we got talking to producer Sudhir Sharma of Sunshine Productions. “This mini-series was an experimental sort for us but fortunately it worked well not only for us but also for the channel. Being telecast on an odd timing of 6pm every Wednesday and Thursday, the response has been phenomenon. Shot completely in a movie technique the show has also been a learning and growing experience for us. We are super happy with the result and I must thank the directors, technicians, writers, actors and everyone associated with the team for their continuous hard work.” Raashi Mal aka the evil Gauri in the show averred, “It has been a superb learning experience. The feeling is yet to sink in that we will no longer meet and shoot together.” “The journey with the show has been really beautiful as I got to play such a challenging character,” added Sheetal Singh, who plays Roshni. The team had a small get together on the sets last night where most of the cast and crew members were seen weeping as they bid a farewell to each other.
