Choti Bahu to go off air

Sad news for the fans of Zee TV’s <em>Choti Bahu</em> produced by DJ’s A Creative Unit. The show is all set to say goodbye as the channel has decided to pull the plug on it. Yes, <em>Choti Bahu</em> is going off and its last shooting date is 17 May 2012. Our sources have informed that the makers approached the channel with the proposal of shifting it to the 6.30pm slot, but received an answer in negative. Then they again sent a proposal stating to make <em>Choti Bahu</em> a bi-weekly. The channel resented to give a nod the second time round also.

Finally, the production house announced officially today morning (12 May 2012) to the cast and crew that the show will go off air. Its last airing date will be 18 May 2012. It will be replaced by Shakuntalam Telefilms’ much awaited show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke which will hit the screens from 21 May 2012 at 7.30pm. Tellychakkar.com called up Rubina Dilak, who plays the character of Radhika in Choti Bahu, and she confirmed that they have been informed about the development. “We have been officially told today that our show is going off air. It will end on a happy note. It was great being a part of it. We joined the show happily and now we will bid adieu to it happily. Post Choti Bahu, there is nothing in the pipeline as of now,” shared Rubina. Well, fans will definitely miss the romantic chemistry between Rubina and Avinash Sachdev (Dev).
