Creativity is like oxygen for an artist - Arhaan Behll

Arhaan Behll
Arhaan Behll, the talented actor has been missed on the small screen from the time his show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se went off air. As an actor, Arhaan has shown versatility in quick time, after portraying the rough and tough Krishna in Pratigya and the contrast character of Raghu in Do Dil. For Arhaan, the decision of getting into acting was never difficult as he dreamt and breathed ‘cinema’ from childhood. “I have always been very fond of cinema. I have always loved watching films and reading about cinema. When I was in school, my parents knew that I would leave for Mumbai as soon I would grow up into an individual (smiles).” Arhaan believes that an actor need not change genres to showcase versatility. “I don’t think I have enough space to discuss my future plans here (laughs). All I can say is that an actor can showcase versatility in the same genre as well. With the kind of shows I have done, I don’t think Indian TV has restricted space for male actors. Time has changed, and now if you look at the shows on air, you will find a good balance,” he averred. Arhaan has been enjoying his free time, post the closure of the Film Farm India show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se. Talking about the abrupt ending it got, he said, “Every end is a new beginning and I have looked at it very positively and expect the same from everyone. The show was brilliant and everybody loved it and for me that is very important. Once again, I would like to thank all the fans of the show for making it such an important part of my life.” A report in media had written about Arhaan being part of a freedom based show on TV. When asked if this meant he is not open to new projects, the actor quipped, “That show is a limited episodes series and would telecast biweekly, so it requires very less days of mine. Besides, we have already shot for more than 10 episodes, so it doesn’t affect my availability for other assignments.” Arhaan would love to take part in reality shows, but not in all of them. He would choose a creative role over a show offering good money. “Creativity is more than just being different; it is like oxygen for an artist. And we cannot do without it.” Arhaan has been linked with co-actor of Do Dil, Mansi Shrivastava in the past. When asked if he has really found his soul mate in Mansi, he said, “I believe there is always a line beyond which an actor’s personal life starts and I have always kept it personal. I hope people understand and respect it.” Arhaan, we wish you all the luck for your future!!
