A page from the personal diary of Darsheel Safary Hello friends!!! I am Darsheel Safary and people know me as Ishaan from the Aamir Khan starrer film Taare Zameen Par. Let me start by wishing to all my teachers a Happy Teacher’s Day. I offer my gratitude and respect to all my teachers for making my life so perfect. I thank them for guiding and helping me in every step of my life, showing me the right direction. This morning on Teacher’s Day, I thanked all my teachers for being so patient and teaching me all that I know. I greeted them with chocolates and flowers. I also thank my Principal for allowing me to chase my dreams and also my Geography professor who happens to be my favourite teacher. Today in school, girls from my class wore sarees and pointy shoes while the boys donned formals and kurta-pyjamas. They imitated our favourite teachers. I performed a Robotic dance with my school mate on the English song Cinema by Skrillex. Incidentally, I myself choreographed the dance. That was about my school. But in real life, I admire Aamir (Khan) Sir a lot. During the shoots of Taare Zameen Par, he went to teach me so many things. I have learnt acting from Aamir sir, he taught me to play chess and cricket and he is my real life mentor. I think nobody else can take the place of Aamir sir in my life. Given a chance, I would love to act with Aamir sir again. Here, I also take a chance to thank Jay (Nair) sir for teaching me to dance in the ongoing Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Lastly, a big thank you to all my fans. Wish u all a happy Teacher’s Day. Make your teachers feel special on this occasion.
