Click on the pic to view slideshow Deepak Sandhu packed his bags three years ago and came to the land of dreams, Mumbai, to try out his luck in acting. The handsome hunk, is currently winning hearts with his role Vikram in Balaji’s Parichay. Deepak celebrated his 24th birthday on 26 November 2011, and he had a rocking time with the entire cast and crew of Parichay and his other close friends (check out the pics above). “Well, this year’s birthday was the most memorable one. Since I have come to Mumbai, I did not get the opportunity and time to celebrate my birthday the way I wanted. But this year, I threw a house party and I called the entire cast and crew of Parichay and my other friends. Samir Soni came with his wife Neelam, Prerna Wanvari, Keerti Nagpure, Aarti Singh, Ayaz Khan, Mona Wasu, Fahad Ali and others, were also there,” smiles Deepak. Furthermore, the actor entertained everyone by playing cool songs. “I have done a certified course in DJing and I played one rocking number after another,” laughs Deepak. And the birthday boy can’t stop talking about his gifts. “I got many bottles of perfumes and T-shirts. But everyone kept bringing cakes for me. I didn’t know what to do with so many cakes. But it was great fun.” But Deepak gave an interesting answer when asked about the person who he wished had been there during his birthday celebrations. “My girlfriend. She is from Chandigarh and is an interior designer. We have been in a relationship for more than a year and a half now. But please don’t ask me about her name and other details. I will tell everything when the right time comes. Apart from her, I also missed my parents a lot.” Hmm… quite a revelation. Who is the lucky girl in Deepak’s life? We shall find out for sure. After all, fans would love to know about it. Coming back to his birthday celebration, here are his ultimate three wishes on his birthday. “Firstly, I want my family to be always happy in life. Secondly, I want to become a successful actor and emerge as a good human being. Thirdly, I want world peace, sara khoon kharapa rukhna chahiye.” Quite a noble wish, Deepak. We appreciate. The Punju hunk also went on to share his experience shooting for Parichay. “Finally, I am acting. I am so much like my character Vikram. The show is very important for my career. Sabse acchi baat hain, the team is like an extended family. I don’t feel like leaving my cast and coming back home. I am having a superb experience shooting for the show.” Hope the show acts as a stepping stone for you to conquer greater heights in life. Finally, Deepak signs off with this message for his fans, “Please keep loving me and watching Parichay. I want to give a message especially for bikers in Mumbai. Please drive slow.
