Seasoned actress Deepshikha Nagpal who was last seen in & TV’s Adhuri Kahaani Humari will soon join the cast of Zee TV’s popular show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani (Sphereorigins and Invictus T Mediaworks).

Yes, you heard it right!!

And this news comes to our readers after we broke the news of the entry of the popular actor Iqbal Khan in the show.

Deepshikha who is known for taking up challenging roles, will play Iqbal’s conniving step-mother by name Abida.

As per reliable sources, “Deepshikha will get on board Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani very soon. And she will have a very important role in the upcoming story line.”

When contacted, Deepshikha confirmed the news, but asked us to call her back as she was busy with shoot.

We also buzzed the channel spokesperson, but did not receive revert till we filed the story.

As reported by us, Iqbal will play a staunch Muslim and his character will be called Nawab Iqbal Khan. He will respect women, and will soon develop a liking for Rani (Eisha Singh).
