Life OK and Triangle Films Company’s popular mythological series Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev will see some exiting new entries. Post the introduction of Ram (Piyush Sahdev) and Sita (Rubina Dilaik), we will now see the track of Bali, Sugriv, Hanuman and Angad getting centre stage. So who has bagged the prized role of playing the teenage Hanuman? Well, Vedant Sawant who earlier donned the avatar of Babosa-who again happens to be an incarnation of Hanuman- has been roped in to play Hanuman in Mahadev. Vedant earlier was seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s Babosa Mere Bhagwan. He has also been part of Sony TV’s Krishnaben Khakhrawala, Zee TV’s Punar Vivah, Teri Meri Love Stories on Star Plus and Savdhan India on Life OK. When contacted, Vedant’s sister Aditi Sawant confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com saying, “Yes, it is an honour for Vedant to play Hanuman yet again after essaying the role of Babosa for Sony TV. He will start shoot for Mahadev from tomorrow (9 August). Mahadev is a prestigious show on television right now, and to be a part of it gives him happiness.” Famous Bhojpuri actor Ayaz Khan has been roped in to play the role of Bali in the mytho series. The young lad is known for his negative roles in Bhojpuri cinema. And on Hindi TV, he has earlier been part of Star Plus’ Sai Baba and few other shows. Actor Saifulla Rahmani who was last seen essaying the role of King Vindhyachal in Colors’ Jai Jag Janani Durgahas been finalized to essay the role of Sugriv. He was also seen in Imagine’s mythological, Dwarkadheesh. Somit Godha who has earlier done popular shows like Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, 26-13, Gumrah, Surya The Super Cop and Emotional Atyachaar will be seen essaying the son of King Bali, Angad who is a bhakt of Lord Ram who helps him in his quest of getting back Sita from Lanka. When contacted, Saifulla Rahmani confirmed his entry in Mahadev saying, “Yes, I think we will begin shoot in couple of days.” Actor Ayaz Khan too confirmed the news of him playing the role of King Bali who seeks help from Lord Ram. Somit Godha also gave a nod. Get ready for this interesting track in Mahadev.
