Dimple Jhangiani is all ‘sugary’

A cup of ‘chai’ and tasty biscuits can motivate anyone to keep going on the given day!! But what is it that keeps actress Dimple Jhangiani on her toes? Well, of course, chai and biscuits do bring a smile on Dimple’s face, but it is ‘sugar’ and lots and lots of sugar that is usually needed to keep her going. Can anyone guess how many spoons of sugar does Dimple have for a glass of tea? Aah, the answer is 7… Yes, you heard it right!! It is not that Dimple has a ‘sweet tooth’ and loves sweets to the core. It is to do with the affinity that she has for sugar. She in fact takes 7 spoons of sugar for a glass of tea, and munches down 4 packets of Parle G every morning to start her day. Says Dimple, who essays the role of Avani in Shashi-Sumeet Productions’ show for Zee TV, Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi, “Yes, it is very true!! I have developed a habit of having a lot of sugar, especially in my tea and coffee. Every co-actor working with me knows this fact that I put 7 spoons of sugar for a glass of tea (smiles).” Dimple adds, “The best part is that I do not like sweets. Do you believe I do not like ice-creams? The only sweets I have are Kaju Katli and Rasgulla, and milk chocolates. I am also not very diet conscious when it comes to my food. I love my vada pavs and chicken lollipops. If one needs to please me and bring a smile on my face irrespective of the mood I am in, then come to me with a plate full of chicken lollipops and I will be pleased. I have lollipops daily.” So does it mean that you burn out excessively with your workouts at the gym? “Touchwood, I have been a person who need not think before eating. It is in my heredity, and no matter how much I eat, I do not put on weight.” Aww, that’s a great attribute to have, Dimple… Guess many might envy you for this…
