Dincy Vira is on cloud nine these days as she has bagged her first lead project in DD’s Tulsi More Angna (INA Media Pvt Ltd). The actress had been away from daily soaps for almost two years as she did not want to play just any another character onscreen. Hence, she had been essaying roles in episodics of Savdhan India and Adaalat. In Tulsi More Angna she will play the role of Tulsi. Talking about her character the actress said, “It’s a cute story of a twenty year old girl who is married yet childish in nature. She hasn’t matured as a woman.” Having spoken about the role she went on to share her happiness with us, “I am extremely happy on having bagged my first lead show. Today is my first day on the sets and I was nervous as to how I’d manage to essay the role but I have already got a hang of it but there is still a long way to go.” The show has been airing for a while now at the 10pm slot and the character of Tulsi was earlier essayed by Vinita Joshi. She moved out of the show pertaining to internal issues. When we spoke to Vinita she said, “I shot for Tulsi More Angna and the waiting period of the shooting and the date of airing was pretty long. Hence, I went on to sign another project (Baawre-Life OK’s upcoming project). owing to uncertainty. I never signed any official contract with the makers of Tulsi, hence everything was sorted amicably.” The show airs every Wednesday and Thursday on DD. Congratulations Dincy!!!
