Zee TV’s Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films) has recently seen the entry of the new male lead, Avinash Sachdev.

And now as part of his family, seasoned actress Dolly Minhas will be seen joining the stellar cast.

As per our reliable source, “Dolly will be seen playing the sophisticated, well-read, good-hearted Badi Ammi of Avinash. She would have inculcated the best of qualities in her grand son. And Avinash’s character would also have a high regard for his Badi Ammi.”

When contacted, Dolly confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I am entering Qubool Hai. I play the grandmother of the new male lead on the show. It is a very interesting character, and I am excited to be part of it.”

For the uninitiated, Dolly and Avinash have earlier worked together in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir.

Dolly has already started her shoot, and her introductory sequence will be aired soon.
