After dazzling the world with the successful Diya Aur Baati Hum, Shashi and Sumeet Mittal are now set to bring another hatke project on screen.

Yes, apart from launching Diya Aur Baati Hum season 2, the couple is set to bring the adaptation of popular American sitcom, The Last Man Standing.

The entertaining series which has successfully aired six seasons brings the life of Mike Baxter (played by Tim Allen), a senior marketing guy and his life which is surrounded by women (his wife and three daughters). His interaction and relationship with them is bound to tickle your funny bones.

The fun drama will now get a desi touch and air on Star Plus. As reported in the media, Girls on Top actress Barkha Singh will play a pivotal role in the same.

Newbie Ekta Pabari who has done few commercials will play one of the daughters in the daily.
