MUMBAI: Balika Vadhu 2 will soon launch and this time, the cast includes Shreya Patel and Vansh Sayani in the lead roles. 

Avika Gor, who played the lead role in the original version of the show got chatty with Tellychakkar.com and in an exclusive conversation us, shared how her first day on the sets of the show looked like. Avika shared, “The first day, we were unaware of things and the script was given to us which was extremely long. I could not even read Hindi which was written in English and in this case, my first script was a long math table 15 in Rajasthani language. My father was my guide and he worked out an idea and called someone working in the hotel where we resided. He said it and that too extremely fast and recorded it. That is how I got through for the show. I shot for it in one go and people on the set appreciated me.”

Balika Vadhu was one of the most loved shows on television so much that people could not have enough of the drama. 

The show imparted a fictional journey of Anandi and also gave out social messages through it. Married into an affluent family at a tender age, a child bride, Anandi, struggles to cope with the traditions. She overcomes multiple personal struggles to emerge as an example for rural women. The soap opera was divided into two parts titled Balika Vadhu – Kacchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte and Balika Vadhu – Lamhe Pyaar Ke.
