Mugdha Chaphekar the adorable Aarushi of Zee TV's Satrangi Sasural might not be a part of the show anymore, but continues to rule the hearts of her fans.

Recently the show's lead faces, Ravish Desai and Mugdha were on a trip to USA to be part of the Ganpati Utsav event, wherein Zee America had organized a 'Meet and Greet' occassion for the fans with their favorite stars, Ravish and Mugdha.

We hear that fans of the on-screen jodi poured in numbers and were very excited to be in the elite company of the celebrities.

However, one common aspect that was noticed was the sorrow in the eyes of fans as they missed their Aarushi, Mugdha in the show now.

For the uninitiated, Mugdha's character is no more in the show, with Vrushika Mehta getting in as the new lead.

We at Tellychakkar.com got into an exclusive conversation with Mugdha, the first heart-to-heart interview coming from the girl after her exit from Satrangi Sasural.

Says Mugdha, "Yes it was a shocking development for me too, just as the loyal viewers of the show.  I was informed of my character's exit only 4 days before I shot for my finale sequence. But for me, Aarushi will be close to my heart, and Aarushi and Satrangi Sasural will always be synonymous."

Talking of the great reception she got in USA, Mugdha states, "The trip was wonderful, and I will be grateful to Zee America. Ravish and I had a great time interacting with our fans. I was overwhelmed with the reactions my fans gave me even after I exited the show. I could notice mixed reactions in them, they were happy on meeting me but were very sad at me not being part of the show now. They were very vocal when they said Aarushi means Satrangi Sasural, and they dont find the show interesting anymore."

On her future moves, the lady exclaims, " As of now I have not yet got out of the Satrangi bonding. Ravish misses me, all the mothers keep messaging me even now, on how they miss me. If you look at my twitter page, you will see my fans missing me in the show. All this will surely motivate me to come up with something big. My fans want to see me in a historical again, or in a new and fresh love story."

Speaking about her costar and close buddy Ravish, Mugdha avers, "We share a great bond if friendship. Infact he is my only close friend in the industry. I am glad we got an opprtunity to meet fans as Vihaan and Aarushi."

And lastly but very importantly, Mugdha thanks her fans, "Thank you for the overwhelming support. I will soon be back."
