We all know that as the new year that has kickstarted a few days ago, many shows are in the pipeline. Colors TV is coming up with a new show titled Fanaa, and viewers can't contain their excitement.
Fanaa's story will revolve around three characters, that is, Ishan, Pakhi, and Agasthya, and how the dynamics change with several twists and turns. Starring Reem Shaikh, Zain Imam and Akshit Sukhija in the lead roles. We got in touch with Ishan aka Akshit to know about the show, he had some interesting things to share with his fans, check it out:
What made you agree to the show?
After Lakshmi, I was very sceptical with scripts. I wanted to do something different this time from my previous show. I did get one or two offers earlier but I was a little choosy on picking the show as I had already been a part of Saas-bahu drama and being a mamma's boy, with Fanaa it is different, the show is youth-based and has the lesser context of Saas-bahu drama in it. This one is a love triangle, when I got to know Reem and Zain were my co-stars, the production house and channel ofcourse were major reasons to agree to the show.
You have been a part of Colors for a while and now returning with Fanaa, how has the journey been?
I have always said that Colors has brought colours to my life and career. This is my fourth show and third with colors, beginning with Silsila that brought me recognition and the break I got was from Shubharambh. Now, with Fanaa, I am sure that it is going to be a hit. I hope ahead I get more opportunities with the same channel too.
Did you do any preparations for the character?
There aren't any major preparations, it is mainly where I have to work on myself, I will need to put in more effort as I have some great actors as my co-stars. I am excited for this one as much as the viewers are.
The show is expected to launch in mid-January.
Fanaa might air in the timeslot of 10.30 to 11 PM on Colors.
