MUMBAI: Colors is coming back with the second season of one of the most adored shows, Thapki Pyaar Ki. Starring Jaya Bhattacharya, Jigyasa Singh and Akash Ahuja in the lead roles. 

Well, the show is all set to go on air on 4th October, we got in touch with Jaya Bhattacharya and in a soulful conversation with the actress, we asked her about the show, her bond and more. 

We got in touch with the adored Jaya Bhattacharya and asked her some fun questions regarding the show and more, here's what she has to say:

How does it feel coming back with one of the most loved shows?

We all sort of manifested this second season, we had been wanting to come back with the show for a while. We are going to be missing the whole crew of the earlier one. It was a beautiful family that we had created. We will surely create a new family with the second season. The cast is quite amazing, they are all such darlings I must say. 

How different will be your character in the second season from before?

Veena Devi is a character who is from a musical background. She has come up the hard way so she has that pride with a bit of an egoistic nature. I keep on getting such strong characters only. She is very unpredictable, one cannot predict how will Veena Devi react. I have been trained to be a classical vocalist and dancer so I am absolutely enjoying it. Emoting something you adore is soo easy and interesting. It has filled my heart with memories of yesteryears.

What kind of a bond do you share with Jigyasa?

2017 we finished Thapki, but we have all been in touch. It has not been a gap, in real life, we have been in touch. Not just Jigyasa, all of us have been with each other in thick and thin. I feel that is the best bond as we turned into a family and will always be there. 

What kind of a bond will you share with your onscreen son Akash Ahuja?

When I met Akash Ahuja, my relationship in the show is not warm. We have that underlying tiff. We are not able to express our love for each other. Veena Devi is not that loving conventional mother. She is too busy with her career that there is a gap between the mother and son. I told him, "hum apas mein zyada baat nahi karenge, humara character nahi bolta itna'. But we have gelled pretty well off screens, he is also an animal lover, he is into music and I adore it as well. So yes we don't have any such issues offscreen.
