Yes, Kanchi who made her acting debut with Director's Kut with their Zee TV show Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya has been roped in to essay the role of the grown-up Gayu, daughter of Rashmi.

As per sources, Gayu will be studying in Udaipur with her mother's parents and will be the apple of their eyes. She will be loved and pampered by all. She will be the next new generation lead in the show.

When contacted, Kanchi said, "I am happy that Rajan sir approached me for this role. Nothing is finalized yet. I am still in talks."

We tried contacting Producer Rajan Shahi but did not get a revert from him till the time we filed the story.
