The show stars Simran Pareenja and Akshit Sukhija in the lead roles.

The story focuses on how a girl child is never a liability. How she becomes an inspirational champion of the anti-dowry movement is something the viewers need to watch out for. These days, the concept of dowry in modern cities might be ridiculed but yet there are many families which actually say that they would want the bride to come in her ‘ek joda kapda’ but they actually do not mean it.
