FIR completes its 1100th episode today, producer Sanjay Kohli calls it a "cult show"

FIR

Seems like 2014 has planned to bring in immense happiness for Edit II Productions, the makers of SAB TV’s FIR, in not small but big packages with the show completing its 1100th episode today.

On the occasion, the entire cast and crew will have a cake cutting ceremony at the office of the production house where they will celebrate and make merry.

When we contacted Amit Aryan, the writer of the show, he expressed his happiness saying, “It is incredible that the show has reached such great heights. As a writer, I feel proud of its connect with the masses.”

Over the period of eight years of successfully ruling the viewer’s hearts, though FIR has seen changes from a weekly format to a bi-weekly and now to a daily show with a change in the time slot, but the viewership and fan base have not been affected.

Commenting on the same producer Sanjay Kohli averred, “It is a fantastic feeling. It can’t get better than this. Though these 8 years have been a roller coaster ride for us, but we managed to keep the audiences entertained throughout. From being a weekly show we have made FIR a cult show which is now a brand in itself. I thank the viewers, fans and SAB TV for their love and support for making FIR what it is today.”

We tried reaching Gopi Bhalla and Kavita Kaushik, but they remained unavailable for comment.

However, we wish the entire unit of FIR a hearty congratulation!!!
